Join us for a one-of-a-kind creative experience in the heart of historic Fairhaven! This hands-on workshop is designed to spark inspiration and guide you in creating a Botanical Mixed Media Art Journal—a personal keepsake filled with rich textures, natural prints, and layered artistry.

No experience required. Whether you’re a seasoned artist, a printmaker, a mixed media enthusiast, or brand new to art, this workshop is designed for all levels. Connect with other creatives, explore new techniques, and leave with a stunning handmade art journal that will inspire your creativity for months to come!

What to Expect:

Morning Session (10:00-12:00):

• Gelli Plate Printing with Candice Christie
• Experiment with paints, inks, and botanical elements like grasses, plants, and leaves to create stunning, textured prints.
• Use your one-of-a-kind prints to craft the cover of your art journal.

Lunch Break (12:00-1:00) – on your own:

• Explore the charming cafés and eateries of historic downtown Fairhaven!

Afternoon Session (1:00-4:00):

• Petals as Paint Collage & Botanical Prints with Belinda Botzong – Create delicate, nature-inspired collages using dried flowers and leaves, layering them to form stunning compositions that will become part of your journal. You’ll also explore botanical printing techniques to add depth and variety to your pages.
• Mixed Media Exploration with Kimberly Snider – Play with layers, textures, and creative composition to add depth and personality to your journal.
