Washington State native Mary Knight, MSW, experienced various forms of child sex trafficking, sometimes in her own home. Her parents were her pimps. Knight's current life is filled with safety, love, joy, and children.

Mary Knight treasures her varied life. Happily married, she is a Bellingham psychotherapist, filmmaker, and author. Her memoir, My Life Now: Essays by a Child Sex Trafficking Survivor, was the November 2025 selection for Bellingham Reads. Her films include personal documentary, Am I Crazy?
