Stones Throw Brewery is proud to host its annual International Women’s Day Celebration on Friday, March 8th, featuring a full day of activities that uplift and highlight women in the community. The event, held at Stones Throw Brewery in Fairhaven, will include a women-led bike ride, a maker’s market showcasing female-identifying artists, live music, and a celebration of women in recreation..

Adding to the celebration, Stones Throw Brewery will release its Women’s Brew, a special beer designed and brewed by women in the Bellingham brewing community. 10% of proceeds from this batch will be donated to the Pink Boots Society, an organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women and non-binary individuals in the brewing industry through education and mentorship.

Schedule of Events:

🚴 12-2 PM | Women’s Bike Ride with Shifting Gears – Kick off the day with a group ride led by Shifting Gears, a nonprofit creating welcoming recreation experiences that encourage confidence, wellness, growth, and joy for all women.

🛍 1-5 PM | Maker’s Market – Explore handcrafted goods from 13 female-identifying artists while supporting local talent. A portion of the proceeds from each maker will be donated to Shifting Gears to continue their mission of empowering women through outdoor recreation.

🍺 Women’s Brew Release | All Day – Be among the first to try this special release,crafted by local women brewers. Every sip supports the Pink Boots Society and their mission to elevate women in brewing.

🎶 5-8 PM | Live Music by The D’vas – Enjoy a vibrant evening of music from The D’vas, an all-female band bringing energy and soul to the celebration.

🎉 5-9 PM | Shifting Gears Wild Women Week After Party – Celebrate the spirit of adventure and resilience at this official after-party, uniting the community in joy and recognition.

🏆 8 PM | Shifting Gears Wild Person of the Year Award – Honoring an outstanding individual who has made a significant impact on women’s recreation and empowerment.

🍔 12-8 PM | Food Trucks On-Site – Galley2Go food truck and Girl n Dog cookie truck will be serving delicious bites throughout the day.
